About our Company

Snowshoe Engineering Company’s heritage began over 60 years ago on the back of Jeremey’s father, Joe.  As an electrical engineer, Joe pioneered and maintained television and radio stations in Utah’s Uinta Basin for more than 40 years.  With most of Joe’s work happening on the mountaintops and before snowmobiles and snowcats were widely used, snowshoes where the only reasonable way for Joe to get up the mountain.  Topping out at over 10,000 feet, sometimes in blizzard conditions, Joe would make the 16-mile round trip packing his supplies in and out.  The foundation of our family owned and operated business is rooted in Joe’s grit and ingenuity.

Jeremey graduated from the University of Utah in 2005 with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

Jeremey spent the early years after college working behind a geotechnical drill rig, logging borings all over the Intermountain West for the Sandy, Utah based geotechnical engineering firm, AGEC.

SNOWSHOE was formed in 2016 when Jeremey branched-out on his own after managing AGEC's Vernal office for 6 years.

Over the last 8 years, SNOWSHOE has grown to be the trusted geotechnical authority in the Uinta Basin. SNOWSHOE is a family owned and operated engineering firm providing full-scale geotechnical and material testing services.
